CRS4 Bioinformatics laboratory organized a Next Generation Sequencing Data Analysis course

Bioinformatics Laboratory organized a course on Data Analysis of Next Generation Sequencing Data at Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell'Abruzzo e del Molise “G. Caporale” (IZSAM), from 12 to 16th November 2012.

 The course, which will be focused on microbiology (de-novo assembly, genome annotation, variant identification and metagenomics) will be based on the Galaxy platform hosted at CRS4. Lectures and practicals will be presented by Giorgio Fotia, Gianmauro Cuccuru, Massimiliano Orsini and Paolo Uva, researchers at the Bioinformatics Laboratory.

The initiative is part of an on-going collaboration between the IZSAM and the CRS4 in the field of genomics applied to microbiology.
